Kinder L. Schmidt Memorial Scholarship

This year the Kinder L. Schmidt Scholarship Fund has been instrumental in meeting the needs of several Green Mountain Elementary students.  With this scholarship fund, some of our students have been able to participate in areas of education that they would otherwise not have been able to afford.  We have also helped with some of our students' most basic needs, such as food and clothing.

This scholarship was designed to ensure that the needs of our Green Mountain children are being met.  We are very proud of what it has been able to accomplish.

Kinder's desire to see no child go without can continue to be accomplished through donations.  Checks made payable to Green Mountain Elementary PTA, Scholarship Fund can be turned in to the school office.  Thank you for your generosity.

Earn Extra Cash for Green Mountain PTA

There are several easy ways to support the Green Mountain PTA during the year.  The following programs run continuously and provide a simple way for you to contribute.

Boxtops For Education and Campbell's Soup Labels can always be collected and turned in.  This year our PTA made over $600 from box tops!  Just clip, collect and send in to school.

Ecco Recycles pays our PTA cash for empty ink and laser cartridges.  We collect them and mail them off for cash.

WaMoola For Schools is a program being offered by Washington Mutual Financial Centers.  If you have a Washington Mutual Visa Check Card and visit www.wamoolaforschools.com or call 1-866-WAMOOLA to sign up at no cost, each time you use your card our school will earn points.  Points will be converted to dollars and donated directly to our school.
